The new Poly-8 Voiceboard

November 28, 2014

After I get this new voiceboard manufactured I’m afraid the Jupitar-X will no longer be monophonic.

The board has 8 SQR/PWM, 8 SUB and 16 SAW voices on a single board.

A MCU scans the matrix and resets the SAW integrators.

The Juno synth in an 8-pin DIP

November 14, 2014

The chip is really hitting all barriers in popularity.

With an analog VA-synth in just an 8-pin DIP it’s like the 21 century’s SID-chip.

And just MIDI-in and audio-out so anyone can build a MIDI synth.

It’s really cool. It’s really DIY.

And it sounds just great!

Very Juno-like.

Stocking the dsp-G1 chip

November 13, 2014

A rumor says that Adafruit is stocking my chip.

Let’s see if it’s true 🙂

Anyways, here are the waveforms of the morphing oscillator.

Very Juno-like.

Soo simple

November 10, 2014

It takes about 1min to breadboard a MIDI synthesizer.
That is just how easy the dsp-G1 chip is to work with.

Anyone can do it.
